Interestingly, nothing from the club, just the media. Wonder why?

Football is not like other jobs though. Your value to your employer usually increases with experience but it's a fact of life for a footballer that their powers will be on the wane by the time they are 30. This is obviously the case with O'Connor too, else why would our only competition for his signature be with a piss pot little club like Lincoln.

Hearing that #Notts have made a new offer to re-sign midfielder Michael O’Connor...

Could he yet be with the Magpies next season after all?

Sensible decision given the current experience dynamic at the club. He is 30 not 35. For me has plenty to offer the club both on and off the pitch.

A late change of heart perhaps?? Personally I really hope this is true and he re-signs for us....

Is that the same piss pot club that took over 27,000 fans to Wembley to win a piss pot cup?

Yes, they will always be a piss pot little club to me. We shouldn't be playing in the same division as Lincoln. Last time I went there we outnumbered them in the ground and wiped the floor with them on the pitch. They are small time. Ray Trew and Lincoln City were made for each other.
