Bohemian Rhapsody.....
Beelzebub has a devil of a sideboard. Me.
Still sing this whenever I hear it. It’s better than the original lyrics imo
Also how many of us sat there wondering why the lord was a shepherd called Harold ... and why we had to to pay homage every assembly !

Rainbow
For years I thought it was ‘since you’ve been gone’
Only on their tour last year it was pointed out to me by my wife it’s ‘since you been gone’
The shoes on my feet? Alf Garnett!
The clothes I'm wearin'? Alf Garnett!
The rock I'm rockin'? Alf Garnett!
'Cause I depend on me, if I want it.
The watch I'm wearin'? Alf Garnett!
The house I live in? Alf Garnett!
The car I'm drivin'? Alf Garnett!
I depend on me...
(Independent Women by Destiny's Child...aka the theme tune to Charlie Angels...which is a film about a group of women who do whatever a man tells them to do.)
I have another......
Black Lace - Agadoo
(right this is a song I totally abhor but I heard it the other day and reminded me of this thread).
Aga do do do
put my apple on your tree
Total nonsense .. which is one of the 13 reasons i hate the song, but I'm thinking now I misheard it so, because I'm posting I'm finding the actual lyric is
Aga do do do
push pineapple, shake the tree
I actually think my lyric is better. Yes you can't put an apple on a tree but philosophically it means more, i.e I am putting the fruits of my labour in your life. The actual lyric - is stupid, surely you push the tree to shake the pineapple.
I despair.

Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Islands in the stream. Sounds like "Ireland's industry"
Apparently, Tudor Hacksaw by Van McCoy is actually 'Do the Hustle'
