Just because Arnasun is playing in a set up tat is so defensive, relying on luck to scrape a result doesn’t deter from the fact that Arnasun’s legs are gone and he’s not able to play for Aberdeen.
He’s gone, time to move on and hope Devlin comes back strong for Aberdeen.
You are right to an extent, the problem is McInnes sets up the team to protect the likes of O’Connor and Considine because he knows they will struggle if we are set up to attack teams.Thats why we play with 2 holding midfielders and 1 striker even against the diddy teams.

You could say like Arnason both Considine and O’Connor aren’t good enough for us if we want to improve,2 of them are gone,Considine is still here and O’Connor would be if he wanted to.It isn’t because those 2 are better than Arnason it’s because McInnes likes them and didn’t like Arnason.

A manager shouldn’t be picking players on the basis of how much he likes them on a personal level.

I really don’t like the 2 holding midfielder positions that we play. An absolute disgraceful tactic whilst playing Scottish teams. Most teams are sh!t and we would beat them far more comfortably with a robust attacking approach.
We definitely need to move on from the 4-2-3-1 and be a lot more offensive and have a midfield who can pass the ball for fun and dictate the games.

Germany could have done with some defensive midfielders today.

They had Khedira, but he can't run any more.

Along with Boateng and Muller. Legs are gone. AS for the fish faced ****, you wouldn't want him in the trenches with you. But Mexico well deserved the win. Enjoyed the game. Now comes the real deal in Brazil and abdy's pal, Neymar.

The front 4/5 is frightening. No game management on show here. Skill but work hard too. Brazil -1 and -2.

Bewildering that Loew didn’t select Leroy Sane.
Germans were laboured & so one paced.
