Yesterdays games were ****e because every team pretty much knew who they would play in the knockout stages. It needs to change. Why not just put all 1st place teams in a hat and the 2nd placed in hat and draw the f*ckers out. Then after that just pull names out of a hat like any other cup draw. This being able to pick your path and work who you might play is utter nonsense.

There's not enough time to do that, if the draw for the last 16 was last night, some teams would only have 2 days notice where they were playing. The whole tournament would have to be longer to do that.
