    I didnt really know him but I do remember him posting.

    It is really sad news.

    That's a great thread with some fantastic tributes and I like many others feel like I've lost a friend even though I never actually met him,I've no doubts he was larger than life in person as he was on the forums,I feel for the people who knew him he must leave a big hole in their lives

    Sorry to hear this sad news. Bomber was a well respected and popular poster as the comments on here and on S24 will testify. He didn’t pull any punches and always told it like it was, usually with a dry wit that meant you couldn’t help but smile.

    I was always interested to know why he chose the name ‘Bomber Command’. I remember once posting about an anniversary of the Second World War and Bomber replied in detail.

    He was one of Bladesmads’ true characters and will be sadly missed.

    RIP Bomber - thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
