Why Palace though? For a London club, I think they're one of the more charming ones alongside West Ham.

I agree with you there Hughie, I'm midway between Palace and Brighton and find all of their supporters O.K.

Infact my son in law is a Palace lad and my sister's family, living in Rottingdene are Toon first and Brighton second.

I made sure they had their priorities in that order although my brother in law is from Manchester my sister and I even have him converted.

Toon and Rangers - been to a couple of their games.

I have respect for successful teams but feel no real affinity with them - never have.

Dont mind Liverpool though, West Ham, West Brom and any newly promoted team.

Hate is a strong word. We are all fans in the end wanting the best for our teams, theres always some aholes in the ranks of every team but mostly good people IMO.

If I was forced to pick a couple of teams I wouldn't care much for I'd say Sunderland, Celtic, Villa, Palace, Man U (mainly when Taggart was the boss) and any other team lucky enough to buy their success.

Abroad I like Juve, Barcelona and pre money PSG.

Not sure maybe cos of Pardew, Fat Sam or maybe Townsend. When I think of it , it couldn't be that though I remember disliking them when Malcolm Allison was their manager. I suppose hate is always an illogical emotion
