    Memory help

Who was the Queens player who played for Scotland's under 23 team, probably about 1976-78, against Holland at Tynecastle.
Been racking my brain all afternoon about this one.

Peter Dickson was capped at U23 level , 24/3/1976 at Tynecastle versus Holland in a 2-0 Scots victory. Dickson came on as sub for Joe Smith.
As Holland had won the first leg 2-0 the tie went to penalties which unfortunately, if not surprisingly, Holland won.

Scotland lineup:- Alan Rough, John Brownlie, Frankie Gray, Colin Jackson, Willie Miller, Tommy Craig, Des Bremner, Willie Pettigrew, Joe Jordan, Joe Smith, Derek Johnstone.

Not a bad lineup and an attendance of 32,593 for an U23 match !!

think you'll find the game was at Easter Road - was at it - in fact have the programme still. Was fair proud when Peter came on - everyone was asking who he was/play for SO obviously let everyone know!!!

How did Dickson perform once he came on along with that illustrious line-up? Amazing crowd for an U23 game as well.
