    Rafa in frame

For Spanish managers job after they sack their national coach when

he was linked with Real Madrids vacant post.

I can't see him taking it at this time he and his family seem settled in the UK

He did say "Would I be open to the Spain job? I hope that Del Bosque remains in charge for a long time, but you never know what will happen in the future," Benitez told Minuto 116.

"I would be interested in coaching the national team at some point."

back in 2013.... whether thats now ..who knows.

and would fatso hold him to the exit clause if it was for the national job , doubt it.

not sure Hierro is a long term appointment.. he has limited experience, stopgap for the world cup . Think the search will go on for a full time replacement after the world cup.

It's not impossible to live in the UK whilst managing Spain, mind. Takes a bit of flying, but still.

This is one job i could see him taking and walking away from his contract here.

I think it'll depend on how Spain do and the way there FA want to go, i'm not majorly concerned at the minute but it is one I could see him taking.

he couldnt controll the big players
    they soon had him out

be a long time before he gets the chance to manage players at that level again im sure

and you are right they maty be different nationalities

but they will still say what it was like to play under him

    they do communicate im sure

and by the way i didnt say those two would block him

but he wont get a job with big players again
