Actually I do.
I have spent my entire career in business where the only thing that mattered pretty much was maximising shareholder value, which generally meant maximising long term profits. I may end up looking silly but there is a start of a trend that I think will snowball during this decade, which means that companies will be much more focussed on their impact on communities and society and less so on maximising profit. I'm not sure how quickly this will snowball (and Peterhead fishermen will be amongst the last to "get it"), but over time companies will focus more on suppliers/customers/employees and treating them much more "fairly" and less on maximising profits. This super-trend will be driven by the millennials/snowflake generation and will accelerate as that generation takes over the running of companies from my generation.
