Not for one minute am i having a go at a legend of this board,if it came across as that i apologise. As long as Thompson is pulling the string's i will never renew my season ticket and i deeply regret giving him my money for the past 3 years. As for Stokie i am very happy he has not wasted the £1200 that i have.

I hear you. I've heard it all before about not being able to get to as many games as I'd like. It's water off a ducks back now. I try and stay optimistic about my club no matter how small the optimism there is to hold onto.

You say you've never heard of any of the players we signed so you wouldn't know how good they are then would you?

Everyone knows your opinion about the owner and the current chairman, repeating it all the time gets wearing at least on me. I used to look forward to reading your posts but tbh youre coming over a bit bitter and twisted about it now.

Fair enough mate but I am still happy that the 1360 euro's i have wasted backing a lost cause under Thompson has left your good self financially unscathed.

GB - none of us are. Would i have spent it at ikea instead? nah. Ive met more wonderful people in my time following united than the football - especially in last 3 years. Phuck Thompson i didnt spend my money or time for him. I spent it for daft love a team and a total love of the away squads mainly. I hope times will change.

When United get promoted we will all go out to Spain and have a party at Stoke's place and Gunboat can write a poem about it.

No I really don't see it as a tough start, it's going to be a competitive league, they all have to play each other, I don't fear any of the clubs in the division, let's not forget who we are

As I said my only concern is the manager, that will only change if he proves me and many others wrong

Went to bed last night sorry that we'd fallen out. My copy and paste comment wasn't the best.
As other overseas Arabs may testify it's when you can't get to Tannadice - that's when it hits home.
Because of other commitments I can't fly over any weekend I want. I do get to the occasional home game when visiting family.

GB I've tried selling some old programmes from the 70's and 80's, no takers so if you have any grandkids or even kids you see on your rounds Id be happy to send some over. If you're interested, go into Private Messaging and send me a mailing address. Don't need names etc, just an address where you'd want to pick them up.

Even from this distance I can feel the pain that die-hard Arabs have had to put up with. Although I'm not there believe me I feel it too. I agree with everything you've said about ST it's not as if I don't. I'm willing to give MM his chance though.

So fingers crossed we get off to a good start and give the fans what they need.
We'd all prefer opening fixtures v Sheep Hertz etz but we have to beat all the better championship teams on a regular basis if we're going back up so bring it on. The way the fixtures have come out is great imo.
