Considering he's never hit anywhere near the form he showed for us in that half season he was here and even with the inflated transfer fees since then, how on earth is he worth £20M? What did we pay and then recoup - £12, £13M or thereabouts?

If We buy Townsend again then I'll have to support him and hope he gives us maximum effort and commitment.
I personally don't want him here and if I had my way he wouldn't get anywhere near a Newcastle team in any capacity.
