    Ronaldo accepts jail sentence

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to accept a £16.4m (18.8m euro) fine and suspended jail term to settle tax evasion charges.
The Real Madrid and Portugal footballer, 33, was accused last year of defrauding tax authorities of €14.8m (£12.9m), charges he denies.

If he denies them why pay up?

    .

all that money - it's a profitable buisness - is the "Bountiful Game"......especially with it's global reach and more so with the likes of a World Cup - it's ripe for the fix - markedly by those big players - and easy if the opposite sides have the same friends in dodgy places.
