Will be the headline tomorrow. Nothing quite like a Monday morning gloom so here it is. We’ve seen it all before haven’t we? An embarrassing defeat to Iceland – anyone remember that? The problem is we don’t have any stand out players of the, dare I say it.. the Joey Bartons, Gattusso, Roy Keane fiery temperament needed to spice things up when we are down. I really don’t think we’ll get out of the group to the next stage. Ideally you want this team to go out an put a few against Tunisia to make some statement to the other teams in the group – just not likely is it? Tin Hat

I have never felt less excited about a world cup competition. I will try and watch all the England game tonight and I hope we play well and win by two or three goals. But if I am totally honest I won't lose any sleep if we lose and get eliminated at the group stage. I watch these players and I despair at the money they earn for being totally mediocre.
