So what is your answer, take in every one who wants to come? NHS can't cope now, schools overcrowded also.
It is just not viable.

That's a major point that I alluded to in post 25, the charity groups and liberals, don't give a thought to the effect on infrastructure and communities of immigration on such a scale.

Where are they all supposed to live, be educated, receive medical care? Housing stock is not available, school and NHS dentist places are at a premium and the Health Service is seemingly on it's uppers.

Government needs to build 250,000 new, affordable homes every year just to keep up with demand (not happening), NHS funding will almost certainly require tax rises that nobody wants and we don't have enough doctors, teachers or school places.

The reality is that regardless of the guilt trip laid on people by the Liberals, the practicalities and realities, do not lend themselves to accommodating immigrants on such a scale. Had we not already been inundated by legal migration from the EU, it would perhaps be more viable but we are where we are.

The UK is now the third most crowded land mass in Europe I think I read somewhere.

There will now be even more stories circulated by the people smugglers about dozens of charity boats waiting just out of sight, welcoming refugees with the promise of a carefree life, full of joy. These "refugees", we are told, have sold all they own for a ticket on this boat to paradise, so they had money to start with, money that could have improved the life they had but they have taken the risk - THEY have taken the risk, not us - so why should we be a get out of jail free card?

The only answer I can come up with is as they are arriving in thousands, without passports or any identification (thrown overboard just before "rescue") take them back to the nearest shore they were picked up from, in their thousands. Tell them to repeat their stories to anyone else willing to take a risk.

Of course no terrorist, jihadist, potential suicide bomber or just general hate-filled looney would think of gaining entry to a Western enemy country by such means, so that's no worry. Genuine refugees from a war zone whose lives are actually in danger are another matter though, but there lies the question, why are they not willing to return home when the danger is over? Why are they not sent back?

Since many of them are illegals, they end up in underground networks in Europe (Canada as well) where they are provided housing and a "job" by the smuggler network. Since they didn't have the smuggling fee to begin with, they owe it on this side. No authorities can protect thrm. They are one step up from slaves.

How long has the law been in place and who introduced it? Why is it of so much interest now?

I'm sure everyone who is up in arms about children sleeping in cages has seen the photos from 2014 of, er, children sleeping in cages?
