    Fit like Inversnecky and Paul
You’ll have to bring some butteries and softees down for the locals. I lived in and supported Aberdeen in the early 70s in those days Burnley’s first division stint never got shown on TV up there - we got a Gaelic programme Se ur beatha instead! Zoltan Varga was amazing.
Hoping to come up from Glasgow if I can get tickets. I wonder if it will be shown on TV if not?
I see you play WBA the week before us - we’re trying to buy half their decent players!
Presume you still have Mackay Steven, May, Christie and Shimmie
Should be a good game but anything can happen early preseason.

A good write up on the Dons website concludes we played them only once befor in a 1930 friendly which we won 9-5. There’s a link to the match report too.
I’ll go for that again lol.

Aye we still have those players and a few new ones including Stephen Gleeson he spent last 5 years in english championship so you guys probably know more about him than us. WBA friendly was just announced presume Mcinnes had contacts down there to set it up. Id imagine bt/bbc will take this game on seeing as its a “battle of britain”

Will probably visit a few of those pubs mentioned got most the day wednesday and all day thursday. Group of 7 of us going so should be a laugh and hopefully tie is not over before we are down there

Aberdeen have a proud history, two European titles, 7 league titles, 7 Scottish cups, 6 league cups and never been relegated in it's 115 year history.

In Fergies 7 years they won three league championships, four Scottish Cups, the European Cup Winner's Cup, the European Super Cup, a League Cup, and a Drybrough Cup.

    Dons fan here.

Is the 2414 the absolute max away attendance or can that be increased? I presume you guys will sell out home game, so will it just stay the same?

Because it is not an EPL game, I think following liaison with our local bizzies we can provide almost 5,000 and allocate the entire Cricket Field End...

Can you see that happening? seems like nearly the whole of Aberdeen booked flights and hotels yesterday.

I think our bizzies will be delighted if your lads get the whole of the cricket field stand, not needing to segregate it will make it far easier for them. They could say doubling the number of tickets for away fans is asking for trouble, but your lads will be coming down anyway, tickets or not, so the more inside Turf Moor the better.

And don't be fooled by our seventh place in the Premier League, this is a cup competition, check out our recent record in Cup competitions, with special reference to Accrington Stanley and Lincoln. We don't do Cup runs.
