Im taking the micky Stokie of course, I know Arabian Ian on this board and he'd be appalled at me for even mentioning Dens Park and those pesky filthy navy blues.

Its a laugh mate for me Stokie, I like reading your fans comments on our team in the WC, and I will reply occasionally. And beleive me lads, Ive got nothing to offer in favour of Engerland tonight, that was absolute pants wasnt it!.

No problem...........I kinda thought it was a wee wind up. What's your thoughts on this back 3? England have some very good players, no doubt about it, but pushing high against poor opposition it works but come up against a quick midfield it could result in a pasting, just my opinion.

Ok Stokie, thanks for a serious question and believe me mate, Im not a 'World cup winner' fan before we've even kicked a ball etc.
We were shoite tonight with our B team, and this was against a Belgieland B team as well. I dont think we totally rely on Harry Kane, but we do need goals from elsewhere etc.

Acido - aye it was pants but really depends on how the mentality is - Columbia full pelt harder than Japan. I think southgate has a game at a time approach but the players could well get caught up with the sun nonsense. England reservers Beaten well by belgium reserves. And they didnt get out of 2nd gear. Yes semis are a possibility and you might not have even played a strong team by then.

There's no doubt they've come on a long way. They do look like a team now so all credit to the penalty specialist lol. Maguire looks great with the ball at feet just for one, and they look a lot more comfortable in possession than before and carry a big threat in attack. This is the reason we are getting nervous! And possibly the reason you're all jizzin your pants down there.

The hattrick that 'Arry netted v Panama taxi drivers was 2 pens and and a deflection off his ar5e. In my day that would have been given to the player that hit the shot btw, anyway I don't see Kane getting the same freedom and chances v the top defences. Hope I'm right .............

So you are also right, they need goals from elsewhere and I'm not sure they have an elsewhere. Fingers crossed for severe heartbreak mate.

I like what southgate has done with the unity - they could excel their expectations. However a last minute winner against tunisia, beating a pub team the losing to belgium seems to equate to mass hysteria. Thats the squads biggest issue as they will believe they are better than they are. That group of players work best when the chips are down. Now its so columbia, then sweden or some other pish team and we have croatia and spain. Croatia would take england apart. Think england would frustrate Brazil. They have ****ed up big time not going to try and win table and keep the momentum.

    IMHO

Hey up Shed, and I agree that Japan should be a better (and a so called easier) opposition than Colombia, but I hope we wont make that mistake.
Yes its Colombia now and they have won their group, and while they arent as good as their team back in '94 & '14, we've got to take them seriously.

And Stokie, I believe that we blatantly played for 'second at best' tonight, which disappoints me. What would your team have done though in that position, with qualification assured etc ?.

Hey acido - think the players did after 30 mins. Never say never but not sure many of the 8 will play next round of game(s). 1st defeat in a year. These things can have a negative effect especially going into knock out stages

Are you trying to tell me Rashford TRIED to miss? It was harder to miss than score. No way were they playing for second. They just didn't have enough to get a result in a game of best second 11 v best second 11. It's reassuring though that you intend to take Colombia seriously
