Big ears on match of the day last night laughed and openly waved bye bye to Germany!!!

They have played no one of note yet, and I dnt think tonight will prove anything dif if the rumours are right that beligium will effectively play a second string team.

I personally think they are defensively weak and the first time they are tested by any decent attack minded team they will crumble 🙏

Definitely right that there are weaknesses in their team. Defensively and in centre mid in particular.

They have one exceptional talent in Kane and that can often get teams quite far.

The draw is opening up for them but now Brazil could be on horizon. The problem for them if they beat Belgium reserves is facing Brazil and that will show if they really do have a chance

Their bitterness with the Germans runs very, very deep. All because they are not as good at football as them. Sad really, especially as the Final of Euro 2020 is going to be at Wembley, London, England and after all the pish of the last couple of days, you just KNOW who's going to come back and win that.

I was genuinely surprised at how deep the rivalry is. Folk were dancing on tables at the 2nd goal.

They are all talking about trying to lose the game with a reserve team. I think they will make 3 changes maybe 4 max. If they throw the game they may find it has a negative effect psychologically.

Celebrating a loss! wtf - Welbecks miss kick was dodgy as hell. Arrogance trying to look ahead to semis. Hope Columbias injuries clear up. The real story here is they would have whipped Japan. Not so sure with Columbia.

Is there a shortage of hankies tonight for you navy blues at Dens Park, seeing as we/Engerland have lost a WC match ?.

Evening Acido! I watched the match on ITV and when England were 0-0 according to the commentators and Southgate they were trying to "keep the momentum going". Lose, and suddenly it's "we're not that bothered" and "we played the reserves". You want it both ways.

If he stays with a back 3 all the signs are there that they will be ripped apart at some point.

I don't think anyone hates "the English" mate, it's the arrogance of the media and some England fans that appears every time they beat poor opposition. Remember that Belgium made 9 changes for that match tonight.

Not sure if the Dens Park thing is a wind up or your football knowledge is poor, but United play at Tannadice Park. The only British team to play Barcelona 4 times in European competition and won every game. We're a long way off that right now but still proud of our history.
