    I hate they white shorts. Got to be claret for me.....

    Agreed. Just what is this aversion the club seem to have with the proper Amber top with claret shorts???

    The home kit looks cheap and nasty though I'm impressed with the away one. I'll certainly purchase the away kit but I think I'll keep last season's excellent home top, which p1sses all over this latest effort.

    We've had far worse in the past ie the jester's strip, but these new ones are a bit underwhelming. 5 or 6 out of 10. At least we've jettisoned last season's horrible away top.

    Both are fine for me...not especially good, not especially bad. Unless we win the cup or get relegated, both will be instantly forgotten.

    Though as it happens I much prefer the classic white shorts with the home kit.

    Swap the shorts and socks between the kits and you've got two really smart outfits. Oh, and make the chest band go all the way round. Only having it at the front looks half-assed.

    I suspect we may see that combination at some stage during the season. Did that not happen a few seasons ago?

    Looks like the socks have already migrated from the Home to the Away kit judging by the kit worn at Darlington.
