    Darren Brownlie

    Confirming the rumours that have been doing the rounds on social media Gary Naysmith in today's
    Standard admitted that the central defender is going for an operation on his knee and could be out
    until Christmas !

    Training started a week today - no one came back overweight - all offers for players failed so far with some going to the
    Premiership / Championship and one abroad (Holt I presume) - split squads for games v Annan / East Fife with some youngsters included.

    At least Queens attempted to get Holt but Queens cannot compete with the likes of Dundee Utd and Dunfermline.
