But back on topic at the moment we still have Considine in the team and let a player who could still do a job at us go. Arnason has left fair enough its happened but he's a better player than O'Conner who got a new offer , Considine who is pish and Reynolds who f@ck knows what happened to him

Considine has his weaknesses, but often I think he gets blamed when pulled out of position defending his man and the other players fail to pick up on the third man running.

What about when teams pick him out as a weak link, celtic, sevco always do. Dundee utd in that semi final did. If you target him hes mince. We are lucky most of the league is sh@te and don't have the avbility to exploit him.

I can see that yes, but I also think that within a budget, there will be priorities and sacrifices.
Now many of us would like an improvement on Considine, but at the same time he does have qualities that add strength to the side.
It’s quite indicative that the likes of Harvie and Robertson before were unable to secure the left back slot.

McInnes has clearly prioritised more on midfield and up front, with a smaller proportion of the budget towards the defence.

Going back to Considine, I think he had his best season just before Shinnie arrived.
It meant that Shinnie as a left back couldn’t just walk into the side given how well Considine had played and we saw an emergence of the drive that Shinnie brought to the team from midfield.

Considine has his weaknesses, but often I think he gets blamed when pulled out of position defending his man and the other players fail to pick up on the third man running.
We saw the same with Shinnie against Mexico.

I’m sure many can also see the strengths Considine brings to the team in both boxes.

Considine will eventually be replaced.
I have a feeling this will be his last year and maybe we’ll see signs in the coming windows of his replacement.

The bottom line is Considine is not good enough and is a weak link,McInnes along with some Dons fans seem to put up with this because he is a likeable guy.

I’m sure he is,I don’t know him personally but he comes across as a nice guy.Its nothing against him on a personal level it’s just that he isn’t good enough and we will never improve as long as he is in the team and McInnes should be addressing that.

You claim that, but it’s not true.
Just because I’m not anti-McInnes taking turns with the sh!t stick does not mean I blow smoke up his arse.
I criticise when warranted, as I’ve stated time and again, but also see the improvement we have made since he came in and believe it will be a risk when he leaves if we can maintain our improvement.

No doubt even after McInnes leaves, he’ll still be blamed for the “state” he left the team in
