    Woodstock. Written and recorded by Joni Mitchell in her particular style. But given a very different treatment by Stephen Stills and Neil Young. Nice. Don’t like the hit cover by Matthews Southern Comfort

    Take McCartneys awful Silly Love Songs then listen to the Red House Painters version. You are two minutes into it before you even know that it is a cover. Fantastic.

    Heard this remake of Mama Cass’s “ Make your own kind of music” by Paloma Faith on the car radio today.,....love it.

    Paloma is one of very few modern artists I have time for.
