    The best way to recover from a torn calf muscle is by protection, rest, ice, compression, and elevation.
    If treated properly, it can take up to three weeks to heal Grade 1 calf pulls, four to six weeks to heal Grade 2 muscle strains, and three to four months to heal Grade 3 tears.

    I hope he isn’t tempted to play in Iceland’s last game or he and we could be in tears. Three - four months for tears!!

    Does not sound good, he is a bit injury prone though.

    I'd add one word to that BT...too.

    I like him, but he's a bit too injury prone for me

    He will be fit within a month and Iceland will get knocked out anyway.

    Maybe I'm worrying unduly BT, last season only Jack Cork of the outfield players started more games for us than Berg. He's clearly not quite as injury prone as I thought he was.

    He’s playing tonight as they take on the Croats needing a win to stand any chance of going on. Hope he doesn’t do any further damage!
