I think we know Ali won't start due to a slight injury?

I'd like to see Vardy alongside Kane, his movement is incredible and he's a top finisher if he gets a chance, very unlike Sterling.

Think you may be right about Ali, but if fit he would be in for me if not, would have Lingard in that position

Surely Gareth will stick with 3 CBs?

Southgate will play 3-5-2 so Henderson as DM, Trippier as RWB, Rose as LWB, Lingard as LAM, Loftus-Cheek as RAM, then Kane and Rashford up front. I don't really care about the back 3, but Walker didn't inspire me with confidence last time out.

Totally agree, definitely better going forward than defending and Stones is always a heartbeat from losing possession as they try and play it across the back line.

If we can't roast Panama by at least 2 clear goals we might as well come home now. Here's one of the language's longest palindromes for your half-time enjoyment:
    A MAN, A PLAN, A CANAL, PANAMA

Phil McNulty of the BBC has said Raheem Sterling is expected to start against Panama.

Ali appears to be injured, Sterling will play regardless, so who best fits into Ali’s role in a 3-5-2 that will not be changed, Rashford, Vardy?

    Yo, banana boy!

    Call that a long palindrome?

Try this one for size: Are we not pure? “No, sir!” Panama’s moody Noriega brags. “It is garbage!” Irony dooms a man—a prisoner up to new era.
