    Yes, he was a decent player for us, hope all goes well for him.

    Aye. Slow start but came good for us in the end. Bit peed off when he left but understood why.

    Right or wrong my main memory of him was around 2012 in goal against us for Liverpool when Reina got sent off. Carroll also got booked that day when we were 2 nil up. Fans were singing "Jose we are in the top 6" at him.

    Rated him highly though.

    Aye...laughed like a drain through most of that match...

    ...but he was good for us (agreed-after a poor start), especially with Jonas. Hope his treatment does the trick.

    Aye, hope he makes a full recovery.

    Always a bit shocking when you see something like this.

    I wonder if this is what cause his quicker (well i thought it was quick) decline, he went from 1st team to not even being able to get loaned out.

    Interesting point, Jammy. I would also be curious to see whether or not the development of a brain tumor can be (at least partly) caused by years of intense, physical football. Or heading the ball again and again, which Shearer showed us might lead to dementia.
