I won’t be watching today.....I’m in Tenby and the England match isn’t a high priority for the locals .....there’s a “sheep harrassing” tournament on down here and the local menfolk are warming their wellies as I write this.

Truth is that I don’t like watching England when they play but especially when it’s against a cigar snipper, sunglasses salesman and a bloke normally found with an ice box on the beach shouting “lolly,lolly”.......it frustrates the hell out of me watching blokes on £200k a week struggling to beat a bloke who shares a grass hut with his 15 siblings and his granny.

I’ll wait until it’s a proper match against Belgium.

I think we're all aware of England's past failings and I can see how it can influence/fuel fans' worries but come on. Most people aren't expecting anything other than failure anyway so let's enjoy whatever high points that come our way.

For the most part predicting a World Cup exit from England is a bit like saying, I had my breakfast earlier so i'v got a feeling I might need a 5h1t in the next twelve hours.

........here's' to constipation eh Regis!? 😁😉

Panama will try to spoil and kick us off the park, and we're going to have to be patient in the warm weather etc. I'll take a 1 goal win if we can earn it, that means qualification has been secured with a game to spare.

I'm not entirely sure what it was you called first or when you first called it, but well done you.

Let’s not get carried away by today’s result. My last two threads have had the same theme.. being negative, but that is justified by what happened in previous tournaments and the poor showing. Have we all forgotten?
I’m glad and relieved by the result today and it was just what we needed, so who knows how well will do. Ask me again before the Belgium game 😄
