What about FFP? Will all these spending come and bite us in Basie's smelly butt?

probably if we don't win promotion, promotion money will balance it slightly, I think FFP is now calculated over 3 seasons.

Derby may get hit, they spent big and failed several seasons in succession, they may have to sell some of their tripe if they fail again this season, if they're worth anything OFC.

Well the general mood there (DCFC) is that Mr F Lampard is the best thing since sliced bread. And maybe before it even.
They made a bold masterstroke in securing his services whereas we are on our way up the creek without a paddle with all these purchases of 'unproven players.'

Mr Lampard has got Mr J Morris to ensure the flowing supply of talent from the youth ranks, whilst he himself will use his "connections' to secure a bevy of Chelsea and Man City loanees.
Expect to see the likes of the following playing either part/full loan and maybe even a signing!
Batsuayi, Musonda, Morata, Victor Moses (Chelsea)
Danilo, Delph, David Silva and Sane (City).

And of course while on WC duty as a pundit, he's already picking out players from the various teams who'll grace the pitches of Pride Park.
So don't be surprised if you see Edison Cavani, Amir Muse or Ivan Perišić in their team next season.

We're apparently spending a lot this coming season. If we fail, it will surely affect the next 2 seasons expenditure for players. And quite possibly an FFP embargo or similar punishment awaits after the 3 seasons.
Basically it has to be this coming season. Slight possibility we can also have another try the following season. Any failure thereafter and we'll be stuck here for a long time.

God knows what the offer is?

This player has a release target of £60 million. Out of contract since Sporting Lisbons melt down.
