We have no choice but to keep him, he automatically triggered the extra year after a certain number of appearances, the question should be asked why Pardew continued to play him so he reached that number of appearances, i'm also sure if a Prem team were to make an approach for him he would go, also i don't see how you can criticise the Chairman for not spending money he certainly did last season, weather it was spent wisely is another matter.

In the January transfer window when it was evident we were in trouble even to a 7 year old - we brought in Sturridge who was an injury prone croc but let go a promising youngster so all in all - we actually were quids in!!!

Then when the whole ground wanted Pardew out - we haggled over his compensation which ultimately most likely cost us our premiership place. Not selling Evans in the January window ( not hindsight ) was a stupid decision when we could have got 15 million plus, as he had been playing crap anyway!

So stupid stupid decisions and ultimately the captain of the ship should take responsibility. The CEO of the House of Fraser can't blame his Board as ultimately, he should fall on his own sword!

So Barry is still here ( and yes he triggered the extension ) but not for the love of West Brom but because at his age, no other club would probably pay his wage. I could cry with GMac and Yacob going and that disgrace of a donkey still being at the club!

Morrison is also a great servant but hope the new deal is - good wage if you play but if you remain in the treatment room you get feck all! The club needs to start being ruthless!

Not inspired so far with usual - we are after this and that player but it will be the usual - we will want to pay peanuts and any decent player will go elsewhere!

Don't buy into this "great servant" nonsense. Morrison has been payed for every single day he's been at the club. He has done the club no favours by being here so long. He has simply just been doing his job. Or in the case of last season not doing his job. That is not loyalty. If it is I should be on the Queen's honours list.
