    Two CM's from Stoke

We're linked (I know...) with two Stoke City players, both midfielders. I didn't watch a lot of Stoke last season, and I'm glad I didn't, but has anyone got any knowledge about these two (presuming you have read about the rumours, it's in the Chron again today)? I don't know if they're any good...

Shopping at a team who have just got relegated sounds about right, more Joselu's on the way

So a relegated team per definition does not contain quality? Rubbish. If there's a gem at Stoke who has the level for this league, then it's only natural we look into it as Rafa knows Ashley doesn't buy from the top shelf.

Joe Allen just renewed his contract, doubt he will be leaving.

didnt we sell our quality when we went down

why would a decent player stya with a team in the fizzy

a player with ambition would want to stay in the top legue

amrk hughes did the damage at stoke
    not the players

    Fair point from Pboro there.

I didn't see them much, usually only highlights but that Ndiaye looked decent for them (we were in for him apparently but once the price went above £10 million we were out). He has also looked decent for Senegal in WC when he's come on.

Imbula always use to be decent but he seems to have lost his way this season. However that could be down to the way Hughes played him this season etc.

I wouldn't mind if we had either of those two turn up here. They also have prem experience which is a bonus.

Let's see about that. These two might be good additions to the squad.

Maybe if the big man actually gave Rafa some decent dough, we could get players from a higher shelf, but you know the procedure...

Can you explain how Stoke getting relegated was due to the damage done by Hughes. He was sacked in January and Lambert had the transfer window and 4 and a half months to save them.
It's just you blame Rafa and not McClaren for our relegation when Rafa came in April.
On that basis of your thought surely Lambert took Stoke down and he did the damage not Hughes.

Try asking him to justify that logic.

It only goes to prove without doubt that the anti Rafa stuff is a windup just as much as the pro Ashley is to irk posters.
