The irony of taking the pee out of the Krauts

I’m as chuffed as anyone that the arrogant Nazis have bombed out but for it to be headline news on the BBC!

We have been serial failures at championships for most of my lifetime whilst that lot have won world cups and Euros......!

I’d like to bet they come roaring back at the next Euros and World Cup because they’ll evaluate what they did wrong and in their typically efficient way they’ll put it right.

Meanwhile we’ll lose in the last 16 and then lose to the Faroe Islands in the Euros next time around.

Not clever laughing at the Germans.

Watching the Germans this world cup, I thought how much they looked like English Premiership clubs, crosses being banged in without much composure, attacks built up at a rate of knots that you don't usually associate with German football.

Like you say they will take a few steps back and take a good look and put it right.

As for England....can we really trust them yet?

It’s a shame that Brazil and Argentina didn’t get eliminated too. I would have loved to have seen that fat, cheating tw@t Maradona with tears rolling down his fat face; horrible individual.

See him giving the finger to the Nigerian fans the other night.

    Charmless Fat f u c k.

I’m in a minority but I hated him as a footballer and as far as I’m concerned his so called “greatest goal of all time” doesn’t rank in my top ten.

FFS he ran past and ageing Peter Reid and left the world legend Terry Fenwick on his a r s e ......not exactly Nobby Stiles and Bobby Moore were they!!?

An overrated s h I t bag piece of scum in my opinion and not fit to lace Messi’s boots.

Not the precise terminology that I would employ but nevertheless I agree with the sentiments you express Mick
