    Harold Davis

Condolences to the family and friends of Queens ex - manager Harold Davis who has passed away. Harold was a popular player when at Rangers and was known back then as the '' hard man of Scottish football '' and spent one season 1970 - 71

Condolences to Harold Davis' family and friends at this sad time.
As you say Ftivano he had a rep for being a hard man on the park which he carried on into his management career. It was rumoured at the time that his short term in charge at Palmerston ended when he wanted to instil more discipline and harder work ethic within the squad of players but didn't get the backing of oor Wullie the Chairman. I recall that was the story at the time.
