    So, what did Southgate learn tonight?

    Basically:
    Delph - not good enough
    Vardy - not good enough
    Jones - not good enough
    Pickford - not good enough
    Dier - not good enough

    I think we can agree Pickford is better than joe hart though

    He is probably better than Roy Ironside but that's not the point is it. For the first time that I can remember England do not have a stand-out great goalkeeper. Goalkeepers, like strikers win games. Pickford won't do that for us I'm afraid.

    He definitely learned his squad is not as deep as Belgium's.

    That'd be compared to Roy Ironside (at 83 and a bit) putting on his knitted string gloves today, I assume, Pattylalllacks2
