    [QUOTE=PerigordMiller;38935001]Saturday 5 January 1974

    Team:
    McDonagh, Derrett, Leng, Ferguson, Delgado, Swift, Mullen, Wigg, Gilbert, Bentley, Crawford; sub Womble

    At last my old programme collection has a use (feel like Zippy now)

    We must have been out of the FA Cup as usual by January.[/QUOTE

    Well found! I definitely wasn't at that game.

    We'd lost 0-3 at Wrexham in FA Cup Rnd 2 (15th December 1973). Maybe Hamilton had been knocked out of the Scottish FA Cup by then ? Millers manager at that time, Jim McGuigan, would have had some Scottish contacts

    I attended many junior games at Millmoor and RUFC didn't produce that type of programme for junior games normally - it was usually just a teamsheet. Probably a proper programme because Celtic were a "big name"

    Rotherham United can confirm opposition for the upcoming tour of Austria.

    The Millers will play two games during the week-long stay at Lindabrunn, with supporters welcome at both matches.

    The Millers will play SKU Amstetten at 10.30am local time at their training base at Lindabrunn Sportschule on Tuesday 10th July.

    The final game of the tour will see Paul Warne’s side taken on SV Wiener Neustadt at their home stadium, around 30 minutes away from the club's training base, on Saturday 14th July, kick off 5pm local time.

    I think that they are both in Austrian second tier ( Wiener Neustadt = Viennese New Town)

    Got cut off! (Site doing some strange things, not for the first time!)
    Amstetten is about 70 miles west of Vienna. These are different clubs to those that we played against last year

    Trying to keep all friendly match fixture list material on one thread ... Grimsby Town friendly at the NYS (originally scheduled for 20/07/18) has now been cancelled - see RUFC Official site. Still nothing about Rhyl away though

    That’s a bit steep not like it’s an attractive game.
