    Well, yes - sort of.

If they have an EU passport they can do.

That will change when we get our new shiny blue British passports - but someone will have to do the passport checks...and check the documentation of all freight.

It's MUCH better leaving things as they are now...surely?

Yes 59 that’s in the EUs gift if they wish to negotiate but as I said earlier they want to damage us and our economy so they won’t. But we don’t need our own customs or charge tariffs so we can effectively make Ireland part of Britain lol!

OC, if we treat Ireland as part of Britain then we are treating the whole of the EU as part of Britain!

It is not just a N Ireland/Ireland border, it is also a UK/EU border.

If we go down this route...why leave in the first place?

and i think that a lot are forgetting that this was OUR decision - not the EU's.

The EU would be delighted if we decided to stay. But if we go then things will change fundamentally and our politicians can't think of a way to make it work.

    You misunderstand me totally 59.
We should let the EU and the Irish decide what they want to pay for in Ireland. We should do nothing there, any other action will eventually lead to civil war in the north again. Let Varadkar do that not the UK.

Alto absolutely not, though she wouldn’t do something she didn’t vote for or believe in.

Everything will be made into an issue its the EU way they just want to make it as difficult and painful as possible because if they are seen to fold easily to us there will be a queue of countries wanting to follow us out the door, The EU need us to fall flat on our faces when we leave as the ultimate deterrent. Whether your a remainer or brexiteer you must be able to see that is the game they are playing, yes some things need sorting out but then you have them telling us we won't be getting access to the Gallileo satellite system even though I read we have put in circa 1bn to the project but we won't see that money back or get use of the satellites. like kids in the play ground

Its all getting a bit tedious and whenever it is mentioned on the news now I just tune out, they all need to grow up and start acting like adults. both sides will lose something but it could be done a lot better than it is by both sides.
