    Local or Holiday photo's anyone?

Just to let you all get into your holiday mood. My local beach just 3 km's away Acre or Akko.

.....and a good 29.6 C on the beach!

Eeeh! I wish I could post piccies - some spectacular ones posted so far.

Your family came from Harris/Lewis OC? I have very fond memories of that area. The beaches of Scotland (particularly on the North coast) are the best I have ever seen - and you have them to yourself.

    The true God's Country.

I think you need an "O" level in pressing buttons Sinkov.

How was your time on Loch Fyne?

I have visited that area many times. We stay on the Ellary estate on Loch Caolisport which is brilliant. It is about 7 miles from the nearest town (Lochgilphead) up a single track road. The estate consists of a manor house and about six converted properties from the estate which are dotted round on the banks of the loch. One of them is called Lochead cottage by the way It feels like complete wilderness and on one occasion we were snowed in for about four days. Luckily we had plenty of alcohol and pies to keep us going.

Just 200 yards from where I live and if you walk to the left looking at the first photo you come to the sand and river mouth as shown in photos 3 and 4. Number 2 in looking along the river in the opposite direction.
Every beach in Northumberland is very sandy and it is hot today although we do occasionally suffer with sea fret!
