Wolves Sign Bonatini And Vinagre On Permanent Deals

I've got to admit i didn't expect either of the above to be signed permanently.

I thought Vinagre did well when he got on the pitch. And I think we need some depth at wingback because I don’t believe we can expect to see another season in which both Douglas and Doherty stay healthy for 30+ matches. Thought we had a bit of luck with both playing 40 matches or so.

Bonatini had a great first half of the season, then couldn’t find the net. Think he and Jimenez are a bit redundant. Would have liked to see us go after another forward. But Nuno & Co know best I suppose.

Vinagre did impress me, his goal at Burton was quality. It's always good to have decent competition for places. Bonatini knows where the net is despite his run in the second half of the season. I'm still expecting Wolves to add more fire-power to the forward line.

We had a great squad for the Championship, it needs to be improved to stay up in my opinion. I’m surprised that Bonatini has been signed after Afobe was sold, is that progress!? I hope the club are working on at least one more forward and a central midfielder... I expect one or two injury’s to key players in the Prem... we need quality cover.

Without the goals that Bonatini scored in the early part of the season, we would not be in the Premiership now. He does more on the pitch than score goals, holding the ball up well and linking up well with other players are his main assets. With a little luck he could certainly have added to his impressive scoring record.

Let's hope he rediscovers his early form Abbo, his confidence really seemed to drop off.
