To be fair when we got relegated he tried his heart out to keep us up unlike a lot of players, the way he left was a bit meh though

Townsend left to try and stay in the England squad which was fair enough as we were relegated.
Beardsley left to join Liverpool but I welcomed him back and I would have loved to see Waddle and Gazza come back to join Keegans entertainers as well.

I don't want him back but if he comes back i'll welcome him and hope he is hte player that did well for us.
Regardless he will be an improvement in quality on the wings, if we keep Ritchie (which i hope we will). I think that Townsend would be funded by Mitro going personally.
I would rather Kenedy of the two though.
I can see why Rafa wants him back, he does add more prem experience (something we still lack) and he does add a bit of quality, if it wasnt the way he left i'd be alot more excited as it is i'm a bit meh.

Rafa clearly wants a left sided player and probably can’t afford or Chelsea won’t sell Kenedy. I just don’t want Ritchie sold. If it’s Townsend in and Ritchie not out I’d be happy (enough).
