Then you've got Richardson, Kilgallon, Mcphail who were all championship players at best. Lennon and Milner who were 16 and too young and Bridges who was trying to play with one leg.
It is not surprise we went down. Team wasn't good enough and club was in jeopardy then we added **** like Olembe, Sakho, Roque Junior etc. We were doomed to relegation as soon as Bowyer and Woodgate had their day in court.
".................Bowyer and Woodgate had their day in court."
And O'Leary published that stupid book, destroyed our team spirit, affected results, missed out on CL, the rest is history.....
(or maybe the FA Cup defeat at Cardiff as well???)
Great thread..
No surprise we went down - writing was on the wall before the season started,it was feckin horrible..we all knew it was coming tho didn't we?
Then just when you thought it couldn't get any worse......it feckin did
By the way clive..not one of your best threads this one pal
We had a great chance, remember being at Blackburn and winning Easter period i think,i was convinced they would go and we would stay up,they then went on a run and leeds did not kick on.
