I assume that VAR is turned off during penalty shootouts, keepers coming off line before ball is struck etc.

More than one example on both sides during that shootout.

They got what they deserved and in fairness that pushing and pulling incident was going both ways, so it was right not to be a pen.

And it still bugs me to see keepers being allowed to come further off their line, allow them to move yes but they shouldn't be allowed to do that.

I'm in Majorca at the moment and the Spanish waiters were disgusted with their team. Too much tippy tappy football they said with no end product.
They also said they didn't have a decent goalkeeper or striker! I told them De Gea and Costa would both walk into most teams.
Don't worry I said, England are going to win it anyway! Cue amused smiles 😊
