    Captain Batth

Danny is being linked in the press with a move to West Brom. I know some supporters would be prepared to drive him there. 2017/18 has not been his best season so a move may make sense. We do have plenty of cover in his position with Saiss playing well there in the World Cup.

I can’t imagine he would go there. Despite not being a first team player, I feel that he still has a good amount of good will built up with the fans and club. Leaving for a rival would ruin that.

He gets away with a lot from the fans because he's a local lad but quite frankly he's simply not good enough for the Premier League…….he's barely good enough for the Championship!

I think is more classed as the club captain, than a match by match captain. I was expecting him to move on during this transfer window. Wolves can't afford to carry passengers like Danny Batth any more. He's served the club well, but Wolves have move to another level regarding recruitment.

He’s become the Neil Collins of this ‘generation’ of players.

There was talk before the game last night about Batth not being in the starting eleven, i actually said that he could be going out on loan. Rumours suggest he's on his way out on loan to last nights opponents Sheffield Wednesday. He knows the place having played there before. At Wolves the club are shopping in a different transfer market now.

Looks like he's off to Middlesboro on loan, and Bright Enabokhare is with Kilmarnock on loan until the New Year. Best for both really to try and secure some first team game time.

It's a good move for Danny Bathh, but he will face a battle to get into the 'Boro starting eleven. As for Bright, i just hope he can make an impression up there in Scotland.
