    England/Columbia Predictions

    OK back to footy

Me? As said before I'm no great tactician so I don't know how they'll do it but,

    2-1 England

    You lot?

Colombia 3-2 England. Early goals rattle England. They get 1 back but while chasing the equaliser, Colombia get the all crucial 3rd goal.England yet desperately and score another but too late.

Or 2-1. Colombia lead, as time ticks by, England to desperate and are punished in a counter attack. Eventually get 1 late goal but cannot find the equaliser.

NB: Don't worry I always get this wrong. The reverse will happen and England are comfortable 2-0 winners

It's the England way - as soon as the opportunities open up, we blow them. Three games we can win stand between us and glorious defeat in the final. Will we do it? Probably not, but it all starts today, each game seeming tougher the closer we get to it. But be of good cheer, even if we bow out now we can remember this as the year we crushed the might of Panama and Tunisia.

I really don't know how good (or bad) our team is but at least we have outlasted Holland Italy Argentina and Spain as well as the reigning European champions.

    A cagey 1-0 I will go for

Not confident, but going 1-0 England, Columbia are a very good side and could just spoil the party.
