Fyvie was out watching the warm up but appears to want to get stuck in. Even kicked a ball but seemed to get a ticking off for that.

hard to judge from last night tbh. some decent performances but you could tell it was still 1st game back. i expect guys to show alot more once the real stuff gets up and running. i did like the look of the two keepers tbh both looked massive (in height not weight) which is good more physical presence is what weve lacked for a while.

thought frans and rabitsch looked decent without overly impressing. booth and wardrop looked abit off the pace. curran looked miles off it. clark and aird looked decent enough. few of the young guys impressed ritchie and chalmers. plus was good to have keatings back and he made a big difference when he came on.

surprised no trialists were playing and some of the names missing from the line up (murdoch and king esp)

not brilliant but its hopefully just the start of something and building up to the Cup

Off the small clips we saw noticed Chalmers looking alot bigger this year. Expect he will be in and around the team alot more.

Seigrist, very vocal but dropped the ball alot - dodgy
Wardrop, he best improve quickly, slows up play alot
Allardice, was ok but should we really be playing him there???
Frans, will take alot of convincing
Booth, alright for first run oot
    Smith, done hee haw
Stanton, usual standard and style pass marks for Sam
Rabitsch, pish, passed back the whole game, made one forward pass and went right to chin player. Needs to improve same as Wardrop ASAP
    Aird, looks the part
Curran, I like him, gets stuck in, solid, holds up play
    Clark, i also like him.

Still got everyone back at corners i see, ffs csaba!!!

Early days i know and yeah im always critical but we best have a lot of closed door games arranged before we ply the smokies or theres gonna be an upset

Defence is a concern for me, why we never tried to keep Moshni i dunno...

Interesting comment from a native last night saying we look better than the fun, if thats the case then get yer hoose on them coming right down!!!

Wasn’t there but it was my suspicion that we are still lacking in quality. We need to get one or two players that are far better than this level (a Lewis Morgan type) to make a big difference. I know a couple of Thistle fans who were more chuffed at signing O’Ware than the prospect of resigning Frans. Time well tell but we need our defence still gives me the fear.

i wasnt overly impressed last night but some people i know have already written off players. it was there first official game back ffs. some guys take a little longer to get up to match sharpness so not panicking. i do expect to see an improvement in the next few games

we will see in the next few games if players dont look good or whatever. the negativity from some fans are unbelievable.

Alot of it is concern, concern we kept Csaba and concern at the potential of not winning the league this year.

dont get me wrong i wouldnt have kept csaba and the longer we stay down the worse we'll get but the way ive seen fans comment about new signings or how we played last night is over the top imo. it was our first game together and was always going to be a fitness exercise. lets say where we are after the cup games before getting overreactions
