    Bye Andreas and good luck

Andreas Weimann has left for Brizzle.
Wouldn’t have been my first choice to have been got rid of.
Is this the start of the “realigning” to what is affordable??

Decent business at that price. I like Weimann but like most wide players he's too inconsistent and not enough quality with the final ball. Good luck to him!

Deal apparently agreed for Bryson to Cardiff at £1.75m. Get 11m for Vydra and 2-3m for Martin and all of a sudden you're building a kitty.

Kasey Palmer on a permanent and Tammy Abrahams on loan would be a nice starter.

A 100%er but always seemed unable to be a finished article.

Good summary. Swapping three or four like Andreas for one genuine playmaker would do me fine. I'll even say my old favourite Bryson is acceptable collateral damage if we get a real goody in with the accumulated funds.

Easy to p*** £15m up the wall though

Bought for 8M. Still 2 years on his contract. Won the SBC Golden Boot last season. A mere 26 years of age. Why would we sell him to anyone for a mere 11M? Why would we sell him to a promotion rival? Especially when that rival is the DYS.

There are rumours of interest from Burnley. Vuds going back to the PL must be worth at least 15M and, if he does go to the DYS, the fee is 20M.

11M is tantamount to giving the lad away. Let's hope that we have now stopped doing that.

BTW - 2M plus add ons for Weimann is a good deal. That gives us a fight between Thomas and Bennett for his spot....... provided we will be using someone wide left up top.

Agreed (I'm doing too much of that at the mo, going soft!). Option 1 keep him option 2 sell him to PL for at least double our investment option 999 Leads, and at least £20m, old animosities run deep

Ideally with Vydra you need 2 or 3 clubs showing serious interest so that a bidding war begins. Again ideally one of them will be West Ham as they like to pay 5m more than anyone else.

At this stage though only Leeds have shown sustained interest though if he looked like going for 11m you would hope someone would step in with a higher bid.

We already looking to replace Weimann and had a bid for Jozefoon at Brentford turned down.

Will be an interesting few weeks for sure.

Going for Jozefzoon (pronounce Yo sef sown) doesn't make sense. We already have Luke Thomas who can play that role, if indeed we have that role in whatever system FL is going to play. We also have Mason Bennett who can play that role and the #9 holding role and quite likely the #10 role as well. Last season, I saw all the pre season friendlies thanks to the wonders of RamsTV and, IMO, Weimann and Bennett were the two best performing wide men in them. Come the League and JR got the nod over Bennett. Bennett then had a couple of good appearances as a sub, got a start and injured himself after 10 minutes.

If FL goes 1-3-5-2 then we have a choice between Lowe, Olsson, Forsyth, Bennett and Thomas for the wide left berth. Jozefzoon would be superfluous to requirements IMO. Unless one or more of the other 5 is on the move.......

If we line up with Forsyth or Olsson there hasn't been much progress made.

What about Anya IMO he's a natural wing back with pace and a decent brain?
