After my big toe amputation, been disharged from the hospital.

Still bruised and a bit swollen, but can weight bare and stamp to show my consultant that i could drive. Got the all clear to resume driving. My toe had been fused for about 6 years, so i didn't think it was doing anything ,apart from giving me grief. But what ive noticed is that i have lost the claw action of my remaining toes.Which makes it more difficult to get up from a sitting postion. Fell over a few times, but that's due to my weak left side, but didn't do a Neymer and roll over like i was shot.

I worked with a guy who was 6ft 4 inches tall who’d lost both big toes Lloyd.

He walked “knock kneed” as it was the only way he could retain his balance.

He reckoned that it’s your big toes that are the most important part of your anatomy when it comes to balance.

Nice to hear you are progressing soulman...but I wouldn't be giving that consultant too big a thumbs up the bugger might take that as well...
