The fun at their putrid best

    https://www.scotsman.com/news/scotti...wage-1-4764993

Twenty-five Scottish businesses are today “named and shamed” by the UK Government for failing to pay employees the national living and minimum wage.

One of the most prominent Scottish businesses mentioned was Dundee Football Club. The list said four employees of the Dens Park outfit had arrears averaging £533 (coming to a total of £2,134) between January 2015 and May 2016. A Dundee Football Club spokesman said four players had been underpaid as a result of a administrative shortcomings in its payroll process. The players had since had the cash made up to them in a subsequent salary.

    Always at it ......

IIRC when they went into Admin 2 there was a trainee on their books who they had agreed to pay college fees for but never did pay. Care to comment PeterMackie?

I’ve never met a funster who has the slightest remorse or shame about admin twice.
As far as these cretins were concerned it was just a jolly good wheeze to avoid paying their debts.

Every company that gets caught out blames it on an "admin error"

There gonna build a new stadium though.

Jeez you guys must be desperate if you have to resort to commenting on this piece of non news.

    1) It is old news, it happened two years ago and has been gone over in the press a number of times in the past.
    2) Read the club's statement. It was an admin error sorted out in the guys' next pay packet before they were 'advised' by the government. If they were trying a fast one why would they sort out the error within a couple of weeks without the need for being told by the government of the error?

When you're the big club I suppose it is understandable that folk attached to smaller clubs try to make mischief about nonsensical non stories. BUT I will take no lectures from those supporting a club who have all but supported rapists, had a groundsman ***ually harassing some poor woman in the ground, sacked an employee because of a disability etc., I could go on. Get your own house in order and stop making fools of yourselves.

Doesn't seem much to this story if you ask me with it being a couple of years ago that it happened. Starting a thread about this on our site just allows them to bring up some of the less salubrious happenings in our recent past and is therefore counter productive. This kind of childish tit for tat banter does my head in. We should be concentrating on United and ignoring them. In the same vein the contribution from next door should be simply ignored.
