    Well you cannot have it both ways, either lerner filled his pockets or the money went in to the club so just what exactly has xia spent? Bugger all, the no spend started last season.

    Dave is spot on. He raised enough money to buy the club but not to run it once the sky/parachute dosh ran out (vetting?) Gambled Aston Villa getting back into the prem and lost. When you're borrowing money to run the club things are pretty ****ty.
