Rafa has sent him and Lazaar down to train with the reserves. Maybe he's just enjoying his massive wages.

The dynamic duo Carr and Pardew Oh and Ashley he canít knock back a free transfer bargain and give home a 7 year contract just in case heís a world beater with a big sell on fee

Thatís £14.5 million excluding signing on fee and agents fees what a good business man he is.

They want him and he'll go but he doesn't want to drop wages (which to be fair you can't blame him for).

I'd happily let him move there and then pay the extra (to make up to 40K) for the last year of his contract, that way we at least get most of his wages off the bill.

He was canny for the first 6 months but really started to fade towards the end of the relegation season. His tackle at Blackburn away in the championship that led to them scoring the only goal of the game was typical him hold off the challenge then 20 or so yards from goal Iíll bring him down now I think.

    Wonít be missed.

I havenít heard anything about a transfer fee? Will we get anything because I think we should be looking for £1-1.5m? (with a £200k down payment of course!). We scratch other clubs backs in transfer dealings which ever way the player is going.

Last season of contract and wants to go, we want him to go.

If we get a transfer fee it'll be very minimal. Wouldn't surprise me if it was only 500K.

But it is worth it to get him off the wage bill.
