    RIP Gillie ,never saw you play but grew up with stories of you from my old man who wasn't easily impressed but you stood out above all the 61/62 team .
    Remember Jimmy Greaves once telling a story of being driven through Coupar Angus to a sportsmans dinner or something and turning to the driver and saying this is where Alan came from ,wish I could remember if I read that or it was on the telly but incredible the impression he made on players of that stature....

    A sad day and a huge loss. Thanks for the great memories Gillie. The Dees in the High Stand have their hero back. And respect to the Arabs on Mad for their comments
