Kieran Trippier, Trippier, Kieran Trippier. Na na na na na na na na.
Etc.
(Tune of the Martin Paterson song)
Our superstar right back doesn't have a song either. So here goes:
When Tripper goes marching down the wing
Kieran, Kieran
When Tripper goes marching down the wing
Kieran, Kieran
When Tripper goes marching down the wing
The Longside fans begin to sing
We all know that Burnley are gonna score
(Tune: The animals went in two by two)
Kieran Trippier, Trippier, Kieran Trippier. Na na na na na na na na.
Etc.
(Tune of the Martin Paterson song)
You probably missed the other thread (Danny Ings), where we're trying to have different songs for different players, rather than the same old songs for every player. Just trying to be inventive, so if you've got a tune we don't currently use then fire away.
What about the 'only fools and horses' theme tune?
Kieran Trippier
Kieran Trippier
He's our right back
Trippier
Our right back
Trippier
Like that?
Do you remember our old song "Tiptoe through the Longside"?
Trippier down the touchline
With his boots on
Ings will head it in
Come Trippier down the touchline with Mee
Probably needs a bit of work...
claretforever - the tune of your OP has been sung for Ross Wallace since last season at away games!
Although not just lately, obviously!
I never heard it Fidal. If it's not made it back home then I'm not sure it's really taken off then?
When I responded to post 2, I was thinking Martin Paterson, Tony Grant etc. so there's been a number which have been sung quite a lot, even at home. There are only so many hymns, rhymes and pop songs that fans use the tunes of, but we can always be a little more inventive with the words is my angle.
What were the words for Wallace if you don't mind me asking?
''Only fools and horses''
Sticks a winger in his pocket
Keiran's running down the wing
His crosses are the best 'uns
So you don't ask questions
Cause brother, he's your man.
---
God bless Trippier
Viva Trippier
Long live Trippier
C'est magnifique, Trippier
Magnifique, Trippier etc
We have got one and post number 2 has it spot on!
It's also one of my favourite player chants and quite catchy.
Are getting confused because last season we sang it yo patto and tripps?
