    Davies and Johnson both out

.......or maybe I should have included OT in the topic heading.

No, not Curtis and Bradley but rather David and Boris.

    Are we happy about that?

I thought you were talking about some obscure cricket match there!

Davies, yes bothered because I think he had the will of the people in his mind at all times

Boris, no not bothered and hopefully this will help restore his Have I Got News For You gig, his buffoonery suited that perfectly

Bothered about Davis? Who hasn't played any meaningful part in negotiations despite supposedly being Brexit secretary? It wuld be hard to find a more talent less, clueless buffoon but for for Johnson.

Exactly how is 52% of those who voted "The will of the people" thats a meaningless phrase thats tossed around as a huge majority of the British people voted for Brexit, when in reality 37% of the voting population did - not disputing the result of the referendum, but lets be clear if one says respect the result (of a flawed and it seems illegally funded) referendum thats a fact, "the will of the people" is in correct, one would have to have a plus 60% voting majority for it to be even close to that.

Spot on mista...a Machiavellian ‘game’ of political vanity and self interest...nothing more. Gove will do whatever it takes in any attempt to get the keys to No. 10.
As for Davies representing the ‘will of the people’, Andy...just as well he resigned then, because as far as the EU is concerned the ‘people’ are just totally confused.

Could it get worse? IMO, yes! Bozza could launch a leadership contest and win it. Boris as PM? That would be a huuuuuuuuge disaster.

I think it’s a nailed on certainty MA.

No sarcasm Andy...just fact...Davies has eventually flopped at everything he’s done and it’s impossible to represent the ‘will of the people’ on this one because there is no such thing. There probably is a ‘will of the people’ in relation to other less complex matters...the death penalty, blood sports or abortion, for example - and I’m not saying we should necessarily follow it - but the pros and cons of EU membership were always too complex and the details too well hidden for informed consensus to be arrived at.

Mogg is becoming more irrelevant by the day MoP...Lord Snooty has been rumbled!

Not a chance, even the Tories recognise him for the egotistical self interested chnacer that he is, would not even get to second vote, not that will happen as any leadership contest would fracture the party, and anyone with the qualities to run, would keep thier heads down until the chaos had settled.

Gove will never get the keys to number 10 while Mogg is on the scene!
