Thread: What price on Sam Vokes..?

    What price on Sam Vokes..?

Middlesbrough fancy big Sam Vokes to lead their promotion charge.

No suggestions whatsoever we want to sell him, but should we let him go and if we did, what's the price tag?

Ok BT I’ll bite and wind up Sinkov.
TM says we paid £572k for him in 2012 and his current value is £5.40m. So it depends how much he wants to go how much we want to keep him and him much they want him, but we’ll make a profit on him whatever. They could probably offer a higher salary than the £17k a week we are said to pay.

I guess if they offered £10m-£12 we would find it hard to resist given his contract expires next year. If we want rid then £5.7m might be enough.

Pulis wants rid of Assombolonga, who cost them £15m and has flopped - didn’t Sean want him at the time? Maybe a straight swap?

We would sell Sam to help fund the Jay Rod deal. Assombalonga is a non-starter.
